The only Audis with transversely mounted engines are the A1, A2, A3 & TT. Everything else is longitudinal.

Audis, at least since VW started bringing the brand back in the 70s, have pretty much always had longitudinally-mounted mounted engines. In fact, they only started making a transverse-mounted car with the A3 in '96.
